The EPA and CDC strongly recommend that ALL homebuyers have an indoor radon test performed prior to purchase or taking occupancy of a new home. If high radon levels are found (4 picocuries/Liter or higher requires mitigation), the radon levels should be mitigated through a radon mitigation system.
